Let Us Show You How
At Haworth, every member embraces design thinking to create shared value. Our approach is built upon the conviction that business can be a force for good. As a company that’s spent 30+ years in global markets, we bring the best ideas from around the world to make a positive difference.
To see how we do this, follow us on our sustainability roadmap—a path designed to position us to do well so that we can do good.
It All Starts With Our Values
Embracing design thinking starts with an understanding of good design (by which we mean “design that does good”). It’s about purpose, intention, and transformation. It requires a vision, clarity of brand, and a value system.
This mindset led us to name our perspective and process for workspace design.
Haworth's Values
• We listen to our Customers.
• We rely on our Members.
• We honor Integrity.
• We embrace Continuous Learning.
• We lead with Design.
• We create Value.
• We work to make the World better.
Organic Workspace
We view our role in supporting customers and their employees with tremendous responsibility, and work to craft solutions that help our customers succeed. This mindset led us to name our perspective and process for workspace design. It's called Organic Workspace.
Organic Workspace leverages research and applies circular design thinking that places people, communities, and our planet first. Each unique Organic Workspace serves as a living organism that can adapt as people and organizations need.
Creating a
Road Map to 2025
In 2020, we gathered top leaders from around our company and from outside the industry to develop strategies that build upon our heritage, strengths, and values on our journey toward becoming a sustainable corporation.
Driven to continue making a difference in our world, the result is an ambitious, focused strategy centered on three key areas that form a road map for continuous improvement.
